Providing this website

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the website, STRATO processes technically necessary server-log data. This particularly includes the IP address, date and time, requested page or file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, access status, and transferred data volume.

The processing is necessary for the secure, stable and efficient provision of the website and is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. According to STRATO, IP addresses are retained for no more than seven days to detect and defend against attacks. Where STRATO processes data on our behalf, this is governed by a data-processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

The connection to this website is encrypted using TLS.

No analytics and no marketing cookies

This website does not use analytics or marketing trackers and does not set cookies for those purposes.

Your light or dark appearance preference is saved locally in your browser. It is not sent to a server.

Pre-launch requests and feedback

The pre-launch form only prepares an email draft in your own email application. The website does not store the entered email address or feedback and does not itself send them to a server. Your message is transmitted through your email provider only when you send the draft.

If you email us, we process your email address, message content and technical message metadata to respond to your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data when it is no longer needed to handle your request, unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage. There is no automatic newsletter subscription.

Privacy in the Tempo app

Processing within the desktop application is covered by the separate Tempo app privacy policy.

External links

This website links to the providers of the time-tracking tools mentioned in the product comparison. When the Mac App Store listing is live, it will also link to Apple. The respective provider's privacy policy applies when you open an external link.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
